both for the position Speech Therapist / Speech and
Language Pathology.
Speech-Language Pathology - SLPs work with the full range
of human communication and swallowing disorders in
individuals.
Evaluate and diagnose speech, language, communication, and
swallowing disorders.
Treat speech, language, communication, and swallowing
disorders.
Provide training and education to family/caregivers and
other professionals.
Work collaboratively with professionals from many other
disciplines.
Roles & Responsibility
Perform evaluation and administer treatment for
speech-language disorders for special children with one or
multiple disorder like Cerebral Palsy (CP), Mental
Retardation (MR), Autism, Learning disabilities etc.
Design and revise plans of care and goals.
Primary work would be conducting one-on-one speech therapy
sessions for kids with Autism Spectrum Disorder, Delayed
Speech and Delayed Milestones.
To maintain and updated individual and group records
during sessions.
Establish and maintain cooperative and effective working
relationships with parents and other stakeholders.
Establishes and maintains a safe, orderly, and
child-centered environment.
Keep abreast of current trends and developments in speech
disorder.
Attend and participate in team meetings and staff
meetings.
Conduct reinforcement assessment, vocabulary list, VB MAPP
assessment for every kid for 1st five days of the
session.
Each therapist should prepare vocabulary flashcards in the
box and maintain each kid's flash cards in separate
ziplock pocket ( mention kid name on the pocket).
Make a 3-month lesson plan and 1-month lesson plan during
the 1st week of sessions.
Use data sheets of every kid in clipboard.
Maintain skill tracking file for every kid.
Work Structure at our Network.
Timings are from 9:30am - 7:00pm.
Each Therapy session would be for 45 minutes.
(Nine) 9 sessions per day.
